Experience

 

Jeffrey G. Sheldon has been recognized by California Lawyer as one of the 20 best intellectual property lawyers in the state. He is also recognized for his leadership in creating one of the most dynamic, purely intellectual property law firms in the country. His leadership in intellectual property professional organizations has established him at the pinnacle of his professional specialty. Mr. Sheldon also teaches, serves as an expert witness, and is the author of the foremost treatise on how to write patent applications.

 

Regularly retained by in-house counsel of large corporations because of his command of intellectual property law, Mr. Sheldon is skilled at achieving clients’ objectives through the most effective and efficient means.

 

Mr. Sheldon’s technical background is in the biomedical and chemical engineering arts. He was previously employed as a chemical engineer by Exxon and Shell. Prior to that, he was a scientific coordinator at Lee Pharmaceutical and a medical device development engineer at American Hospital Supply Corporation.

 

Mr. Sheldon practices the full range of intellectual property law, from prosecution and litigation to international and domestic licensing.
