Experience

 

Dr. Kristin C. Hiibner, Ph.D., is an attorney at the Pasadena and Ventura County offices of Sheldon Mak Rose & Anderson. During law school, Dr. Hiibner completed a full-time externship with the Honorable Judge Audrey B. Collins in the Central District of California.

 

Dr. Hiibner has a Ph.D. in Chemistry and an exceptionally broad technical background, including graduate work in organic and inorganic chemistry, as well as work experience in plant pathology and molecular biology. She specializes in a full range of intellectual property, such as patent prosecution, licensing, opinion writing, due diligence and risk management, with an emphasis in the pharmaceutical, biotech and chemical industries.

 

Dr. Hiibner’s technical knowledge and legal acumen are a significant advantage for her clients in today’s litigious multi-disciplinary intellectual property law arena. She can proficiently tackle a wide spectrum of technical disciplines and simultaneously keep a keen eye out for potential litigation pitfalls.
