Michael F. Fedrick

A registered patent attorney, Michael F. Fedrick has extensive experience in securing patent and trademark protection worldwide, licensing intellectual property rights, performing due diligence for transactions, and pursuing infringers of his clients' intellectual property rights. He has counseled clients in industries ranging from software to biotechnology.
Mr. Fedrick is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and has a keen familiarity with Chinese business practices. He works with both Chinese clients doing business in the U.S. and U.S. clients conducting business abroad.
Mr. Fedrick previously served as counsel for the biopharmaceutical business of Baxter Healthcare Corporation, where he was responsible for intellectual property matters relating to product lines with sales in excess of $1 billion. While there, he spearheaded the patent and trademark work for a new pharmaceutical product from inception through FDA approval.
A frequent speaker, Mr. Fedrick discusses matters involving all aspects of intellectual property law with graduate and undergraduate students, aspiring exporters, and many others in the business community.
He is also president of the San Gabriel Valley Bar Association, where he previously served as director and webmaster. In addition, Mr. Fedrick serves on the Legislation and Regulation Committee (East Asia & Pacific region) of the International Trademark Association and is on the marketing committee of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association.
