Laura M. Lloyd, Ph.D.

Registered patent attorney Dr. Laura M. Lloyd has more than five years?experience in intellectual property law. Her practice includes domestic and international patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, client counseling and opinion work, and negotiation of patent licenses and trademark coexistence agreements. Additionally, Dr. Lloyd has provided litigation support in opposition and infringement cases before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and federal courts in California and Texas.
Previously an Associate with DLA Piper, LLP and Gordon and Rees, LLP, Dr. Lloyd prepared and prosecuted foreign and domestic patent applications in her areas of expertise, including biotechnology, molecular biology, immunology, virology, diagnostics, medical devices, therapeutics, and pharmaceuticals.
Her experience also includes working as a Research Associate/National Institutes of Health Post-Doctoral Training Fellow with the Department of Pathology and Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Additionally, she worked as Research Scientist with Streck Laboratories in Omaha, Nebraska.
