DR. LAURA LLOYD JOINS FIRM’S PATENT PROSECUTION PRACTICE
Pasadena, CA Sheldon Mak & Anderson PC, an intellectual property law firm, announced that Dr. Laura M. Lloyd has joined the firm. With more than five years?experience in intellectual property law, Dr. Lloyd’s practice includes domestic and international patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, client counseling and opinion work, and negotiation of patent licenses and trademark coexistence agreements. Her technical expertise includes biotechnology, molecular biology, immunology, virology, diagnostics, therapeutics, small molecules, and pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Lloyd was most recently a patent attorney with DLA Piper, LLP and Gordon and Rees, LLP. She obtained her J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA. She earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and a B.S. in Microbiology from Colorado State University.
